Special theme days
These specially designed days challenge and excite students, providing enriching and cross-curricula experiences through a range of innovative activities including visiting experts in the field. Special theme days must be booked at least a month in advance and are available throughout the academic year.
Earth and beyond
This exciting day is designed to engage both students and teachers in astronomy and space science. They will enjoy a specialised session in the Planetarium and take part in a space treasure hunt throughout At-Bristol.
Using the Faulke’s telescope located in Hawaii, they will plan and execute a real-time observation session with the help of our ex-NASA scientist, and may even get to make a few discoveries of their own!

Forensics
Students will learn the basic techniques of Crime Scene Investigations and forensic scientists with support from experts in the field, including trying out techniques such as fingerprinting, casting and DNA fingerprinting to eliminate suspects and analyse evidence for court.
