Half term henna mania in At-Bristol
26 and 28 October 2005

On 26 and 28 October, visitors to At-Bristol can get the chance to have their hands decorated with henna art designs, free as part of half-term celebrations for the new IMAX film Mystic India 2D.

Anyone coming to the IMAX Foyer from 1pm-3pm on Wednesday and Friday can choose from traditional Indian patterns to wacky wildlife designs, then have their hand painted by top Bristol-based henna artist, Vina Panchal. Having been decorated, you can then go and discover more about Indian culture in the stunning IMAX film Mystic India 2D, showing at 3.15pm on both days.

But that’s not all, why not continue the Indian theme and take part in Wildwalk’s fantastic Asian plant trail where you can discover some of the fascinating plants found in the Asian sub-continent. Find out about exotic shrubs like jasmine and fiery plants like ginger and see if you can spot the Indian Banyan tree, the national tree of India!
