Winner: Visitor Attraction of the Year 2011, Bristol Tourism and Hospitality Awards 2011

Awarded bronze: Investors in People
The Bronze award is only awards to the top 3% of all IInvestors in People recognised organisations
Awarded: Learning Outside the Classroom quality badge
This education quality badge recognises organisations which have pledged to engage in an ongoing process to sustain good-quality learning outside the classroom.
Awarded: Quality Assured Visitor Attraction (2008/09), VisitBritain
At-Bristol has been awarded accreditation as part of VisitBritain's Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Scheme.

Shortlisted: Best New Attraction for Groups: Group Travel Organiser Magazine

Winner: Large Attraction of the Year (2001): England in Excellence Awards South West
Established by the English Tourism Council, the England in Excellence Awards programme is one of the major events in the travel and tourism industry's calendar. At-Bristol was named ‘Large Attraction of the Year’ by South West Tourism.
Finalist: Large Visitor Attraction of the Year: South West Tourism Excellence Awards
At-Bristol was chosen by South West Tourism as a finalist in these prestigious annual awards.
Awarded: Instalment of the Year: AV Magazine
This award was for At-Bristol’s interactive exhibits. The magazine said that the ‘AV materials make science accessible to a wide range of public, including those with special needs’.

West of England Carbon Challenge Carbon Champions Award 2012

Gold Green Business Tourism Award achieved 26 April 2011
The GTBS is the national sustainable tourism certification scheme for the UK. Originally developed in partnership with Visit Scotland, it is now the only certification scheme validated by Visit Britain, through the International Centre for Responsible Tourism (ICRT). Winner: Best Disabled Facility: Group Leisure Awards 2004
Voted for by the readers of Group Leisure Magazine, the award of Best Disabled Facility recognises At-Bristol's commitment to providing full Access for All to all our exhibitions, events and facilities.
Winner: Tourism for All: England in Excellence Awards South West
This award recognised At-Bristol’s policy of access for people of all abilities.
Finalist: Excellence in Access: ADAPT Trust Access Award
This award honours excellence in access provision to arts and heritage buildings for people of all abilities.

Winner: Urban Design: The Civic Trust Awards
At-Bristol's innovative buildings and Open Spaces received this award which recognises the significant contribution that At-Bristol has made to the development of the city.
Winner: Bristol Civic Society Environmental Awards
The Bristol Civic Society rewards improvements to the local environment and the imaginative use of buildings no longer needed for their original purpose. At-Bristol shows how the sensitive regeneration of old buildings (a derelict railway goods shed and a Victorian leadworks) can enhance a development and retain Bristol's heritage.
Winner: Bristol Civic Society Environmental Awards
Millennium Square includes unique artworks and areas suitable for live entertainment while complementing the rich architectural heritage of the historic harbourside.
Winner: RIBA Award for Architecture: Royal Institute of British Architects
The At-Bristol building designed by Wilkinson Eyre was one of two innovative buildings in Wessex rewarded with the coveted RIBA Awards for Architecture. The judges said ‘this building is an exciting advertisement for the museum and it is to be commended not only as architecture, but also for a significant contribution to the public realm’.

At-Bristol is detailed as a successful case study. At-Bristol is referred to throughout the report, with the main write-up on pages 73 and 74.
Awarded: Car Park Star Award: The AA’s top 10 UK car parks
At-Bristol's Millennium Square car park features in a list of the top 10 UK car parks.
Awarded: Secure Car Park Award: Avon and Somerset Police
As part of a nationwide initiative, the award recognises the spacious and well-lit design of the underground parking facility and the safe and hospitable environment it offers visitors.
