At-Bristol leads the way in Informal Science as Exhibitions Director receives International Fellowship

At-Bristol’s Exhibitions Director, Dan Bird, has successfully become one of the next generation of Noyce Leadership Fellows. The announcement coincides with the launch of At-Bristol’s latest exhibition All About Us, which was developed on-site in the science centre by Dan and his expert exhibitions team.
UK’s Tourism Minister visits At-Bristol for British Tourism Week 2011

The Government’s Tourism & Heritage Minister, John Penrose, visited At-Bristol, the popular science attraction on Bristol’s Harbourside, on Saturday 12 March to demonstrate his support for the UK’s tourism industry. The visit marked the first day of British Tourism Week 2011 which takes place this week between12-20 March 2011.

At-Bristol, the leading science attraction on Bristol’s harbourside will today launch its new £1.5 million exhibition All About Us. The exhibition, supported by the Wellcome Trust, will contain over 50 new hands-on exhibits all about the human body and the brain that will amaze the whole family.

With less than two weeks to go, At-Bristol, the leading science attraction on Bristol’s harbourside, is busy preparing for the launch of its latest ground breaking exhibition All About Us. The permanent £1.5million exhibition, all about the human body and the brain, will open to the public on Friday 11 March.
