After six years of inspirational leadership, At-Bristol’s Chief Executive, Dr Goéry Delacôte has announced he is to step down from his Chief Executive position to become President & Chief Scientific Advisor of At-Bristol in April 2012.

Last week, At-Bristol hosted the UK’s first RAP (Roundtable for Advancing the Profession) on the topic of 'Finding Evidence of the Long-term Impact of Science Discovery Centres', The British Interactive Group’s (BIG) three-day annual skills-sharing event for individuals involved in the communication of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) and the annual Visitor Studies Group (VSG) Summer seminar.

Not only has At-Bristol just been announced Bristol Tourism and Hospitality’s Attraction of the Year, it has also been awarded ‘Gold’ in the Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS) – the only tourist attraction in the Bristol region with gold and the only science centre in England with any Green Tourism Award, let alone gold.
